We’re inviting entrepreneurs to visit Capital One’s booth at the Latina Makers Marketnext week, where you can share your business pitch on video for a chance to win one of three grants in the amounts of $5,000, $10,000, and $15,000.
Three finalists will be selected to share their mission, vision, and business plans during the Capital One Amigas in Business Digital Bootcamp later this year. A select group of judges will award a grant to each finalist.
If you want to participate, here are the details:

2) During the #WeAllGrow Summit, visit the Capital One booth at the Latina Makers Market between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday & Saturday to book your pitch video session time slot. Note: Time slots are limited – entries will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis! Pre-registration deadline is September 29, 2022, 12 a.m. (PST).
3) Video pitches should be no more than 5 minutes in length. Participants will tape themselves responding to the following questions about their business (no other materials are required for submission):

Here, you’ll find the entire agenda and schedule, a directory of all the speakers and their bios along with what sessions and panels you can find them speaking at, connect with other attendees that are joining you at Summit, and stay up to date with all the announcements that are happening in real-time! Pro tip: review the schedule ahead of time and plan out your day so you can make the most out of #WeAllGrow Summit, and make sure to turn your notifications on for real-time updates and instant news!
The days are packed with so many activities and talks that you won’t want to miss, so you want to make sure that your phone is charged the whole time so you don’t miss out on capturing any key moments at the conference! If you’re staying at one of the casitas or rooms at La Quinta, you’re going to have access to pools within the resort! So bring your favorite swimsuit and enjoy a dip in the water under the Palm Desert sun!

Again, it’s going to be warm and we will be in the desert, so we want you hydrated! Make sure to have your own water bottle to carry with you. There will be water stations in different areas throughout the resort so you can refill when necessary.

Since 2015, the #WeAllGrow Summit has hosted six incredibly courageous mujeres to share their truth on the Storytellers stage, and it is incredible to witness the resilience and talent within our community continue to expand. What was originally intended to be a session showcasing our community’s diverse voices has evolved into an event that is so much more.
We are overjoyed by the record number of submissions we’ve received and are grateful for the opportunity to have connected with so many amigas on a deeper level. Choosing the finalists was not an easy task. But, together with a panel of judges comprised of the Pure Leaf team, Kathy Cano-Murillo, and #WeAllGrow, six finalists have been selected to shine on a platform made for nuestras historias! They truly embody this year’s focus, and their stories undoubtedly will inspire you to say NO to say YES to your truth, path, and life.

Bralmarys is a Latina content creator based in New Jersey with a mission to empower women in her community by expressing themselves through fashion and lifestyle.

“It means choosing yourself, standing up for yourself, and knowing your worth. It means prioritizing yourself even when it hurts.”
Eliana Reyes is a dynamic Afro-Latina, multi-disciplinary artist and entrepreneur passionate about storytelling and creatively bringing narratives to life. A true renaissance woman, she works seamlessly in front of and behind the camera.
What does “saying NO to say YES to me” mean to you?
“It is the ultimate answer to my ancestors’ prayers. To be empowered, protected, and courageous enough to choose my own self-actualization so that I can live my purpose.”
Erika is a Coach, Speaker, and Founder of Courage Driven Latina. Erika walked away from a six-figure tech job and moved back into her childhood room to start her coaching business and grew it to a multi-six figures business within 12 months.
What does “saying NO to say YES to me” mean to you?
“It means to lead with courage and self-trust. To honor your boundaries and desires in life. When you say yes to yourself, you give others permission to do the same.”
Miriam Lara-Mejia is an entrepreneur, body positivity activist, and self-love advocate with a mission to fight fatphobia in the Latinx community. In La Gorda Feminista, her online community of almost 300K, Miriam translates lived experience and evidence-based knowledge to help others celebrate body diversity.
What does “saying NO to say YES to me” mean to you?
“It has meant cultivating the capacity to recognize what does not serve me and my purpose and feeling confident in creating boundaries that support me.”
Norma Rapko is the Co-Founder at PURE GODDESS an award-winning author, artist, designer, and inventor of #1 Best Seller and Most favorited product on HSN called Crystyler. She’s on a mission to inspire and empower women through beauty, creativity and wellness.

“As a recovered People Pleaser, learning to say no has been one of the most extraordinary gifts and acts of love I could have ever gifted myself.”
A first generation Xicana, photographer, writer and mother of four including twins, Perla is deeply committed to the transformative healing of her community through self-reflection, intentional dialogue, and mindful parenting. She is also the Co-Founder of an amazing non-profit called Cihuapactli Collective.

YOUR IMPACT
Because we value your vulnerability to share your story to impact others, the six selected Storytellers will receive an all-expense invite to our sold-out #WeAllGrow Summit 2022, courtesy of Pure Leaf. This includes one full-access conference pass, domestic round-trip airfare for one, and a shared three-night stay at the La Quinta Resort in Palm Desert, CA with one other impactful selected storyteller.
The multi-talented Kathy Cano Murillo (the one and only Crafty Chica) and her daughter, actressMaya Murillo are returning as our hosts for this year. Kathy will also provide priceless coaching via video conferencing in the weeks leading up to the Summit for all selected storytellers. She’s inspiring, helpful, and a storyteller in her own right. Nicoletta is an award-winning interdisciplinary artist and chamána (shaman) who comes from a long line of healers. She is Black Latinx; proud to be a first-generation Panamanian born in the U.S. She utilizes her health influencer platform,Vida Mágica Love, to share her passion for spiritual fitness, plant-medicine, healing travel, and all things tea. Nicoletta uses rituals to create virtual and in-person collaborations with global brands and institutions. She frequently partners with TAZO, The Smithsonian, The Kennedy Center to create arts and wellness experiences. She has also been featured in major publications including Oprah Magazine, The Washington Post, New York Magazine THE CUT, Parents Latina Magazine, UPROXX, EDITION by Modern Luxury.
Kim Guerra, Badass x Bonita
Kim is a queer woman of color, writer, advocate, and entrepreneur. A butterfly woman who has given herself wings. She is a writer, advocate, and entrepreneur, and the brains behind Badass x Bonita, a brand and movement that she considers to be a work of self-love and her love for her community. She wants each person to wear Badass x Bonita products as a statement and shield– a living revolution. Guerra is also the author of “Mariposa” and “Mija”: collections of bilingual poems, affirmations, and revolutionary love letters. Badass x Bonita is for all humans who are giving themselves and their community wings through revolutionary love.

This year, we’re shaking things up with a new venue for our most magical summit yet! We’ve moved the event to the magical Palm Desert at the stunning La Quinta Resort. This retreat space was the quintessential ‘home away from home’ for some of Old Hollywood’s Greatest. Diego Rivera himself would frequent the hotel, and you’ll find one of his original paintings in the lobby. Trust us: it’s a spectacular setting that will encourage you to step into your brilliance.

Award-winning filmmaker Frank Capra wrote the 1934 film “It Happened One Night” at the hotel, returning time and time again for scriptwriting at this peaceful getaway. Even prominent Mexican painter Diego Rivera frequently visited La Quinta, and his original art is on display at the resort lobby.
